Celebrating 25 years of marriage to my wonderful wife. This could not be possible without God’s guidance. She is the blessing provided by God to me. I pray for many more blessed years of marriage and sharing life with her.
Just wanted to provide an update to my condition. My pneumonia is gone. Bronchitis lingers, but is getting better – still coughing. Laryngitis on the other hand remains. ENT says it could last from 6-12 weeks. I’m on a no talking order; which is extremely tough to abide by. I think about the lesson(s) the Lord wants me to learn from this experience: obedience, patience, compassion, thanksgiving, being more careful with my words, being a better listener. I feel like yelling out “Okay, I’ve got it, let me talk!” But I also know I haven’t got it, because although I can’t speak (very well) my thoughts continue to betray me. I give thanks to the Lord for giving me this opportunity for self reflection and I thank Him for His healing grace. I pray He continues to show me the way and continues to heal me in His time — but not too long I hope. Thank you all who offered prayer on my behalf. Please continue to pray for me.
Living through Christ has offered me a chance to change the man i am and will be. The Lord gave me a second chance to be a better father and a man through his grace! Blessings are always there, just don’t forget what they are.
Wednesday was my first visit to the vital men’s group at Third Reformed in Pella had a wonderful evening hearing a great speakernand wonderful discussion with other christian brothers. looking forward to future meetings.
To move from darkness into HIS marvelous light, we (I) need to continuously find way to praise Him. God Bless.
