Hello brothers – I am asking for your prayers through a difficult season in life. Almost exactly 2 years ago I started having serious problems with back and leg pain that slowly got worse despite more doctors, chiropractors, specialists, and drugs than I can remember. I’ve been out of work for over a year now because of these issues – I am so thankful to have my wife along my side through this, but at times I am overwhelmed by sadness, despair, isolation and fear. Sometimes I marvel at how God has gotten me through life one day at a time; other times I wonder if he is even there. The last few days have been particularly challenging with little relief from physical pain. Thanks for praying – you all are such an encouragement!
Ryan, I am praying for you because I have had 3 back surgeries and know what you are feeling physically and emotionally. I went through the same process of medication, Chiropractors, etc. I spent several months on the floor, as it was the only relief I could get. Each period before surgery were difficult but I always knew God had in the home for a purpose. I am a little hard headed and thought God just wants to keep me out of trouble at this time but it is not easy. Surgery helped me each time and it has been 11 years since my last one and still doing good. Praying for you and with you.
I want to ask for prayer for a Vermeer team member who was seriously injured while working with a machine in Germany. His name is Loren Lettington. At this time he is stable and after two surgeries the outcome is unclear. He is paralyzed from the neck down, but is starting to want to talk but is unable to. So please pray for this young man and his family, who were flown to Germany to be with him.
