What a day! Over 700 men from all over the mid-west gathered at the Vermeer Pavilion for A Man's Day. It was a day filled with fun and excitement...
Men were uplifted, men were healed, men were saved and God was glorified. Our first speaker, Richard Schlotter, kicked off the day with an outpouring of the Spirit as men came to know Christ and recommitting their lives to Him.
Charlie Koopman's band, Now Serving 7, was amazing and the Spirit moved greatly during the worship sets. Chains of addiction were broken and physical healing was experienced.
Thank you to all that played a part to make this happen, from the many churches represented, to the vendors, to every volunteer, to each man that came to praise Jesus Christ our Lord. And of course, thank God, through the power of the Holy Spirit for his work leading up to and the day of the event, and for the work he will do to 'Awaken' the hearts of men.
Stay tuned for more info as we prepare for next year's event!
Here are the highlights from the 2012 Man's Day:
We are a vital ministry that has a heart for those who do not have a personal relationship with the living God, as well as for those who are forgotten in our communities.
