38 At that time, Judah left his brothers and went down to stay with a man of Adullam named Hirah.

Here we see the immoral character of Judah as compared to the moral character of Joseph. Judah lacked integrity, and this resulted in family strife and deception. In Genesis 39 you can see Joseph’s integrity and wise choices that reflected a godly character. Joseph’s faithfulness was rewarded with blessings greater than he could imagine for himself and his family. Work to make wise choices and reflect godly character in your life.
