15 “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
see, your king is coming,
seated on a donkey’s colt.”
Palm Sunday is here! The triumphant arrival of Jesus was headed into Jerusalem. It was the destiny of Christ to step into his glory. Prophesy was being fulfilled. The crowds cheered as they thought the King of Israel would over throw the world powers at hand.
In reality is was time for a sacrifice which was the real and final one. No longer would their be a need for animal, grain, or blood sacrifice. Jesus was the lamb headed for our atonement. All things were about to be made right.
Let’s not forget the remembrance of the sacrifice our Lord made by his blood to cover our sins. That is Vital News, Men. Let’s recognize this Holy Week, putting away our selfishness and take time to remember the One who gave it all for each one of us.
