30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

Doing God’s will was central to Jesus. Doing God’s will was central to who Jesus was and is. Nothing took first place over God for Jesus. God is first. Look at how Jesus lived and follow his lead. Jesus surrendered to the loving will of God the Father.
