Genesis 43:1-3 New International Version (NIV)
The Second Journey to Egypt
43 Now the famine was still severe in the land. 2 So when they had eaten all the grain they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them, “Go back and buy us a little more food.”
3 But Judah said to him, “The man warned us solemnly, ‘You will not see my face again unless your brother is with you.’
Jacob and his sons had no relief from the famine. They could not see God’s overall plan of sending them to Egypt and to be fed from Egypt’s storehouses. Are you praying for relief from suffering or pressure? Possibly you are not seeing any relief, or God is not bringing it as quickly as you would like. Remember, God may be leading you to a special treasure or answer to your prayers. Be patient and never stop praying. God’s love for you is more than you could ever know.
