These United States of America is the greatest nation this world has ever known. Woven into the fabric into its inception is the understanding that God Himself created us with certain unalienable rights and this nation has been the nearest to accomplishing the recognition and preservation of that. This nation is standing at a precipice like it has never seen before. We’re there because this nation is divided against itself ideologically like never before. That ideological civil war is starting to manifest itself in violent ways that may very well spell the end of this nation as we know it. The point is, this nation was never meant to last forever. We’re only promised that of one and only one, the Greatest Nation of all, the Kingdom of God.
I am so grateful to have been born in this country. We’re blessed. In this country we have the blessing of opportunities and guaranteed freedoms like no other country before. I am a patriot. I’ve studied the constitution, as well as the federalist papers. I’ve studied our history deeply and it’s a rich and honorable one. I do not want to see what this nation was founded on and has embodied for 246 years be torn apart. My prayer is that we, as children of the living God, will stand in the gap and usher in a revival. Not for the sake of this nation and its institutions, but for the soul of its people. Regardless, whether this nation stands or falls, there is one King and Kingdom that will reign for eternity.
