43 So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. 44 The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. 45 Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.
God proved faithful to every promise he had given to Israel. Every promise that God makes is fulfilled according to his timetable. Some of the promises that he made to Israel took many years. You can know that God keeps his Word. Do you struggle with patience in waiting for promises to come about? Are you on your timetable for when you would like to see a promise kept? God fulfills and continues to fulfill promises. Sometimes there is impatience on our part wanting God to act now or in a certain way. Trust God for the future and faithfully do what you know he wants you to do in the present. The more promises God fulfills, the easier it is to hope for those yet to come.
