8 Keep me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings
God protects you. Even when you go through troubles, he protects you. There is no promise that life will be easy, but there is a promise that God’s protection has a far greater purpose than helping us avoid pain. You are working toward being a better servant for him. God protects you by guiding you through painful circumstances. You bring glory to God when you seek him in all things.
