Silence

²¹ When you did these things and I kept silent,
    you thought I was exactly like you.
But I now arraign you
    and set my accusations before you.

Just because God is silent does not mean He condones sin. God gives time for people to repent. God takes no pleasure in the death of anyone who chooses evil. God’s silence will not last forever. Be thankful that He is patient and faithful, compassionate, and He loves all people. Do not delay repenting and turning to God. We do not know His time table.
