3 Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.
Dear Father, I know in suffering comes growth and wisdom. May I work to be a good soldier of Jesus. In life there will be difficulties. I will make wrong decisions. I will suffer consequences of others’ wrong choices. But I do know that if I work to please you, Lord, I can avoid wrong decisions. I can get through consequences of others’ wrong choices. I have life in Jesus. May I keep my eyes upon Jesus each and every day and in all things. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
