Judges 2:4-5

4 When the angel of the Lord had spoken these things to all the Israelites, the people wept aloud, 5 and they called that place Bokim. There they offered sacrifices to the Lord.
The people if Israel knew they had sinned. They wept loudly. They responded with deep sorrow. What is repentance? Repentance is a true measure of how spiritually sensitive you are. Repentance means confessing sins and asking God for forgiveness. Repentance means stopping sinful ways. Being sincere and truly sorry are part of this process. When you are aware you have done wrong, admit it and repent.
