Numbers 15:30-31 New International Version (NIV)
30 “‘But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes the Lord and must be cut off from the people of Israel. 31 Because they have despised the Lord’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’”
God is willing to forgive those who make unintentional errors if they realize their mistake in a timely manner and move to correct that mistake. If you brazenly and deliberately sin, there is a harsher judgement. If you have intentional sin, that comes from an improper attitude toward God. This is a challenge to authority and dares a response. Both the act and the attitude need to be dealt with. Do you need an attitude adjustment? Take an honest look at yourself. If you find that you need an attitude adjustment, go to God immediately and ask for forgiveness and work to change your attitude with the guidance of God and his Word.
