Psalm 68:18
New International Version
18 When you ascended on high,
you took many captives;
you received gifts from people,
even from the rebellious—
that you, Lord God, might dwell there.
This verse is quoted in Ephesians 4:8.
8 This is why it says:
“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”
Christ has ascended and sits at the right hand of God. There is victory over evil. This is an assurance that all of us who believe and trust in Christ will overcome evil. You as a believer are part of God’s family for eternity.
