1 John 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
Praying is not just asking for whatever we want. It is looking and discovering what God’s purpose is. God hears us. He hears us when we ask according to his will. We have what we ask for because he hears us. Make sure we receive. One of the greatest things is receiving from God.
Dear Father, When I pray, I pray believing. When I pray, I receive. When I pray, you hear, Lord. When I pray, I believe that I receive. For I now the plans you have for me, Father. You have plans to prosper me, and not to harm me. You have plans for a hope and a future for me. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
