¹⁶ Come and hear, all you who fear God;
    let me tell you what he has done for me.
¹⁷ I cried out to him with my mouth;
    his praise was on my tongue.
¹⁸ If I had cherished sin in my heart,
    the Lord would not have listened;
¹⁹ but God has surely listened
    and has heard my prayer.

If I am conscious of something that condemns me, I am regarding iniquity in my heart. When I try to approach God, and have not dealt with the sin and confessed it and received God’s forgiveness, I will not receive what I pray for. Remove the consciousness of sin from your heart and go boldly to the throne.

Dear Father, I will confess my sin. You are just to forgive my sin and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I will repent and trust you, Lord, for the forgiveness and the cleansing that you promise. I will not go on worrying about sins. You have heard me, Lord. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
