These are exciting times! The Word is spreading and more people are curious and inquisitive about Jesus Christ and salvation. I noticed the other day when I shared the Bible app link with a friend that the Bible app has been installed over 990 million times. Close to ONE BILLION!!
Revivals are happening. People are committing to Christ. Folks are getting baptized. Individuals are learning what it means to follow Jesus on a regular basis.
Acts 4:31 NIV After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
Have you noticed that the Holy Spirit’s engagement can be spontaneous? At times unpredictable? Engaged by people and places that we would not expect?
My friend Bert Knapp hosted a revival event at Drake Park in Des Moines recently. Over 1,400 people attended and 30 individuals were baptized. What stood out to me that day was how people from so many churches and backgrounds came together and are STILL working together following the event.
Perhaps you’ve heard about the upcoming event at Carver Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. It’s not basketball this time. It’s not a Caitlin Clark sighting. It’s Sunny Singh and The Elim Arrival hosting a revival event at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5. Praise God that the Holy Spirit will be showing up in a BIG way in a sports arena!
Men – be praying about what the Holy Spirit is calling YOU to engage in this season. Be talking with God about what your opportunities are in these next days, weeks and months. These ARE exciting times!
