23 The Lord gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.”
Joshua wold take over the leadership of Israel. He would guide the people into the Promised Land. Joshua had been Moses’ assistant for many years. His key qualification was his faith. He had been one of the 12 scouts to enter Canaan first. Only he and Caleb had believed God could help Israel conquer the land. Moses told Joshua to be strong and courageous. Finding courage would be Joshua’s greatest test. Do you struggle with finding courage in tough situations? Do you rely on only yourself? Do you look to God for Strength and Courage? You can be strong and courageous when you know that God is with you. Have faith that God will do what it takes for you to get through tough situations and difficult tasks. Put your faith in God.
