Job 1:20-22 New International Version (NIV)
20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.”
22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.
Job did not hide his grief. He did not lose his faith in God. His emotions show that he is human. He loved his family. God created us. He created us with emotions. It is not sinful to express your emotions and feelings. It is very appropriate to express your feelings to God and with God. When we experience a loss, a disappointment, or a heartbreak; admit your feelings to yourself, others, and God. Grieve. Share your life with God. He wants to be in every part of it. He wants you to grow and mature through him. Peace, Life, and Joy come through God, the Father; Jesus, the Son; and our Helper, the Holy Spirit.
