Deuteronomy 33:27
New International Version
27 The eternal God is your refuge,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
He will drive out your enemies before you,
saying, ‘Destroy them!’
Moses’ song declares that God is our refuge. God is our only security. Do you trust your life to other things? Do you put your trust into a career, money, or cause? The only true refuge is God. He always holds his arms out to catch you. No storm can destroy you when you take refuge in God. Living for God in this world may look risky, but it is the godless who are on shaky ground. You can dare to be bold with God as your refuge.
