Moses Forbidden to Cross the Jordan
21 At that time I commanded Joshua: “You have seen with your own eyes all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings. The Lord will do the same to all the kingdoms over there where you are going. 22 Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”
Do you need encouraging news when you are at a loss for what to do? Joshua received encouraging news. He was to lead his men against evil forces in the Promised Land. God promised to help him win every battle. Joshua had nothing to fear. Are you fighting battles? They are just as real as Joshua’s battles. Are you resisting temptation? Are you battling fear? God has promised to fight with and for you. Place your hope and confidence in God.
