As you get to know God and build a relationship with him, you will begin your journey of understanding who he is. He does not want you to get caught up with images. How would you feel if a loved one took a picture of you and had this picture framed, and all this loved one did was look at the picture of you, showed it to others, and spent time with the picture? This loved one was paying more attention to the picture and ignoring you. It would be painful to you. God does not want to be treated this way either. He wants a genuine relationship with you. He does not want ritual. He wants you to be real with him and walk with him and talk with him. He wants you to get to know him. Put God before the other things in your life. Put God at the center, and you will be on your way to reaching your potential and all he wants for you.
