5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
Even in the vast creation of the universe, God is concerned for people. You have worth. You are highly valuable to God. You wear the stamp of the Creator. Because you are worthwhile to God, do not waste your time feeling worthless. We have responsibilities, and we have been put in charge of earth. We have authority and responsibility to treat God’s Creation with respect. We are his stewards. Remember your place in God’s creation as you live your life. Treat animals and the earth with respect and dignity. All God’s creation deserves to be treated with compassion and care.
