Psalm 104:24 NIV How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
This verse (Psalm 104:24) is on a plaque along one of the trails at the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I climbed the Grand Canyon (South Rim down to Colorado River and back up to South Rim) last Thursday, October 2 with both of my sisters, my brother-in-law and my nephew. What an amazing day! I took over 100 pictures. I was consistently amazed at the beauty of the canyon throughout our entire day of hiking.
I know we sing that our God is an awesome God. But do we REALLY believe that and LIVE from that truth?
My day last week in the Grand Canyon was such a worship-filled, glory-lifting, God-inspiring time. As men, we don’t spend enough time in settings or opportunities like this. I encourage you to schedule time this month with the setting where you connect with God. Perhaps it’s fishing, hunting, cycling …
If anyone is interested in trekking the Grand Canyon, I’m thinking about going again in 2026. Hit me up & we can talk about defining a time to enjoy one of God’s wonders in our country.
Praise God for the beauty of His creation!
