Louie Giglio’s message at Passion Church in Atlanta on Sunday, March 15 was “Living With A Warrior Mentality.” This immediately caught my attention when I was scrolling thru some of Louie’s videos since this message directly aligns with our Vital Men theme.
Before I share Louie’s main points from that message, I want to provide a “SAVE THE DATE” opportunity for you. Back to Louie’s recent message … Living With A Warrior Mentality. He stated that processing the promises of God requires a warrior mentality because the Christian life involves real spiritual battle. Louie referenced Joshua’s example in Joshua 12. Joshua stepped into God’s promises, but it required courage, endurance and trust. Here are Louie’s key warrior takeaways:
- The warrior knows he is in a battle.
- The warrior is fixated on the victory.
- The warrior NEVER settles until he arrives in glory.
- The warrior counts the cost.
- The warrior walks by faith.
We are moving closer to Palm Sunday and then Holy Week where Jesus shows the whole world that He is the best Warrior. He has defeated every enemy and never lost a battle! Praise God that we serve a risen Savior!
