Psalm 141
A psalm of David.
1 O Lord, I am calling to you. Please hurry!
Listen when I cry to you for help!
2 Accept my prayer as incense offered to you,
and my upraised hands as an evening offering.
3 Take control of what I say, O Lord,
and guard my lips.
4 Don’t let me drift toward evil
or take part in acts of wickedness.
Don’t let me share in the delicacies
of those who do wrong.
Dear Father, I call to you. There are times I feel scared, and I need to know you are there for me. I know you listen when I cry for help. Please accept my prayers that are offered to you. I lift my hands in prayer. Take control of what I say, Lord. Guard my words and how I talk. Keep me from evil and protect me from evil. May I look to you always, Lord. May I do what is right for that is pleasing to you. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
