14 “‘A foreigner residing among you is also to celebrate the Lord’s Passover in accordance with its rules and regulations. You must have the same regulations for both the foreigner and the native-born.’”
Everyone was to follow the decrees and regulations. This means for us today, that in our homes we live out our convictions. We do not force them on others. When there are guests in your home, there may be a temptation to change or water down your Christian practices. If you have family devotions, attend church, and pray at meal time, do not change this if you have guests in your home. Do not be reduced to society’s expectations. Maintain your standards. For example, unmarried couples who visit your home should sleep in separate rooms. Maintain your Christian standards and principles. You never know what kind of an influence you may have on the guests in your home.
