My buddy Travis and I noted one of our top takeaways from the Brandon Lake concert on Thursday, October 9 in Des Moines was Brandon’s message of the POWER when we speak the name of Jesus.
Two days (Saturday, October 11) after that concert I feel 3 feet onto the concrete. My fall happened so quickly & I didn’t realize at the time the whirlwind it started. Broke my left arm but also caused significant bleeding in my left kidney. Grateful for skilled ambulance, life flight and hospital staff in the upcoming hours. By early Saturday evening I was in surgery in Des Moines to remove my damaged left kidney.
I have personally experienced in a profound way over this past week the POWER of speaking Jesus’ name and proclaiming the HEALING that Abba provides. Family, friends, co-workers, church members intentionally and repeatedly called on the name of Jesus. Hallelujah!
Praise God for the GIFT of life! God’s timing was so beautiful last week Tuesday, October 14. At the same time I was in surgery to repair my left arm, my daughter was also in surgery at the same hospital with a c-section to deliver her son … my grandson. Hallelujah again!!
As I’ve shared over this past week my God story of protection, healing, recovery and life, the wonderful name of Jesus continues to be proclaimed. Brothers – do NOT be silent about the gifts and blessings that God gives us. Satan would love for us to be quiet, to minimize the significance of God’s work, to NOT be bold about speaking the truth. Keep speaking the name of Jesus!
