2 So they quarreled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink.”
Moses replied, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the Lord to the test?”
The Hebrews complained about their problem. They did not choose to pray first. There are problems that can be solved with careful thought. There are problems that can be solved by rearranging priorities. Discussion and good council can also be used. But, we need to make an effort to pray when the feeling of complaining comes around. Complaining only raises stress level. Prayer will quiet your thoughts and emotions. Prayer prepares you to listen. Choose prayer first.
