John 16:22-24 New International Version (NIV)
22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. 23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
Pray In Jesus’ Name – When you pray in the name of Jesus, you are coming to God on what Jesus has done on your behalf. He died for your sins, once and for all. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. He did this when he died in our place. He took our guild and condemnation. This opens the way for us. We can come to God without feeling guilt or shame. Jesus gave us the right to access God.
Dear Father, Thank you for Jesus. Thank you that I can rejoice and have joy. I can ask you and talk with you in Jesus’ name and have free access to you any time I want or need. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
