10 In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly.
Instead of giving up hope, retaliating to the pain and hurt that was caused by another person, or becoming bitter; Hannah prayed. She brought her problem honestly before God. You may be facing a barren time when nothing is working or relationships are divisive. It may feel difficult to pray when you are feeling so ineffective and void of solutions, but discover as Hannah did that prayer opens the way for God to work.
