Romans 12:9-15New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.
Dear Father, May I never pretend to love others. May I really love. May I hate what is wrong. May I hold tightly to what is good. May I love others with genuine affection. May I take delight in honoring others. I never want to be lazy. I want to work hard and serve you, Lord, with enthusiasm. I will rejoice in confident hope and be patient in trouble relying on my Heavenly Father. Thank you for prayer for I will keep on praying for needs. I will be ready to help others and practice hospitality. May I bless those who persecute and pray for all people. I will be happy with those who are happy and weep with those who weep. I praise my Heavenly Father. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
