Joshua 1:13

13 “Remember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you after he said, ‘The Lord your God will give you rest by giving you this land.’
God was giving the people rest. This was wonderful news. The Israelites had been moving from place to place their whole lives. Now, the people who had no land would be given land. This would be a land of their own. In this land they would be able to settle down to ‘rest’. Do you need rest? Have you been wandering through life? Stop. Take time to rest with the Lord. Take rest time to read God’s Word. Take a day each week to rest.
