9 You are my strength, I watch for you;
you, God, are my fortress,
10 my God on whom I can rely.
God will go before me
and will let me gloat over those who slander me.
11 But do not kill them, Lord our shield,
or my people will forget.
In your might uproot them
and bring them down.
12 For the sins of their mouths,
for the words of their lips,
let them be caught in their pride.
For the curses and lies they utter,
13 consume them in your wrath,
consume them till they are no more.
Then it will be known to the ends of the earth
that God rules over Jacob.
David was hunted by those who hated him. They wanted to murder him. They were jealous of him. The people he had trusted turned against him. There was one thing that David could count on and he knew it. He knew that God’s love for him would not change. God’s unfailing love continues forever! Have you had a fallout with friends? Has a friend in your life deleted you or cancelled you out of their life? If this has happened to you, it is a sad event to have happen. But, you can find solace and care with God. Tell him your concerns and talk with him. He is there for you in all parts of your life. You can trust that God’s love for you is changeless. He will NEVER leave you or forsake you. You are special to him. He has plans for you, so rest in God’s unfailing love.
