Revelation 21:25-27 New International Version (NIV)
25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
The walls of God’s city are Salvation. God provides for his people. God protects his people. Through Salvation we have every benefit and every blessing. This was all purchased for us by Jesus’ death on the cross. The only way into the city is through the gates. If you want to be in God’s presence and want to enjoy all the benefits that he has for us, we enter through the gate of praise.
Dear Father, I want to be in your presence. I want to your provision. Thank you for your mercy and grace and for the provision of my salvation through your Son, Jesus. Thank you for your many blessings. Keep my in your loving care. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
