Zechariah 12:10 New International Version (NIV)
Mourning for the One They Pierced
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
We can ask for mercy. Prayer can be offered to you, Lord, with your Grace. Prayer initiates in the Grace of God. Without God’s Grace, prayer is worthless. When we repent of bad behavior and acknowledge Jesus, we can stand in prayer and supplication. We can pray for our needs and the needs of others.
Dear Father, Thank you for your Grace. Thank you for your Mercy. I acknowledge you, Father. I acknowledge Jesus. Jesus is my Savior and King. Forgive me for my sins and have mercy on my soul. You are a Holy and Loving Father. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
