I Timothy 2:8 NIV: Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.
The Holy Spirit was speaking thru Timothy in that verse for men to tap into the POWER of prayer.
As men, we are Fixers. Solvers. Pushers. Doers. The reality of our crazy and broken world, however, is that we can’t fix or solve or alleviate a lot of our daily problems.
Plus Timothy confronts us to NOT be angry or dispute things. Simply lift up hands and pray. Intercede. Call on GOD to intervene. To show up. To take over.
Let’s do it, guys. Let’s pray … around our neighborhoods, over our homes, thru our workplaces, over our schools, for our kids and families.
Abba, we call on You to show Your strength to bring healing, to deliver justice, to grant mercy, to restore hope in our lives. We trust Your action. Thank You, Father!
