Deuteronomy 8:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years.
Do you take God’s protection for granted? Do you recognize his protection? Take notice to thank God when your car does not break down or your tools do not break. The people of Israel forgot to take notice of God’s provision and protection for 40 years in the wilderness. They did not remember to give thanks. Their clothes did not wear out. Their feet did not blister or swell. They had food. They had water. Look at what has been working well for you. What has been giving you good service? What has been lasting for a long time and not breaking down? Remember to thank God. God loves to be remembered and thanked.
