Pella Vital Men will be watching Episode 3 of Season 3 of The Chosen this evening at The Well (419 E. Oskaloosa Street) at 7:00p. Again … open invite for all men to consider joining us.
Tonight’s episode shows the disciples out on their assignments after being sent out by Jesus. Jesus heads back to Nazareth to see his mom and celebrate Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year Celebration). In Nazareth we meet Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha. Jesus is thrown out of the synagogue as a false teacher and heretic after claiming to fulfill the law of Moses. Jesus walks thru the mob as they are trying to throw him off the cliff and has a tender moment with his mom and Lazarus.
We will discuss tonight in our group the various reactions of people to Jesus and His teaching. So many questions and so many unknowns for people during Jesus’ ministry. Looking forward to our discussion tonight on how to process and respond to all of the factors associated with Jesus’ presence at that time.
