5 So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.
Our kick-off season starts September 14, 2016. Summer will come to an end and fall will take its place. It will start with the football season beginning with high school, college, and NFL football. What a great season!
I want to just hit on a few of our up-coming events and teaching series as we move forward. Let’s prepare for battle.
September 14, 2016 – Kick-Off Night with our guest speaker, Chuck Holton. He is an Army Ranger speaking on his latest book, Growing Up To Be Men. It all starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:00 at the Pella Christian Auditorium. Bring your sons and other men to this great men’s event.
September 18-23, 2016 – Fellowship of the Sword – A week long in Mooresville, MO. Days are counting down to preregister. Go to Fellowship of the Sword web site for more information.
September 21-October 19, 2016 – We are having a 5 Session Series on ‘Conquer’ – The battle plan for purity. I am excited about this teaching series as it will give us, as men, a battle plan to defeat our enemy as we fight together for male purity. This is a great teaching series for teenage men, as well.
