8 So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News.
This Christmas Season involves opportunities to tell others about Jesus. Often times we pass up critical moments to share with others because we are afraid or because we are not prepared.
Being afraid or ashamed should be our least bit worry when it comes to talking about our Lord. The Christmas Story opens opportunities and softens people’s hearts more now than any time of the year.
Being prepared is critical. Paul says in 2 Timothy 4:2 that we should be ready in season and out of season. That means we are literally ready to share the Good News all the time.
Our news for today, men, is never be ashamed. Jesus came, and he is coming again. Allow your story of how Jesus came for you to be your testimony and be ready to share. He is not a baby in a manger. We serve a risen King who is mighty to save!
