19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Moses challenged the Israelites to choose life, to obey God, and through this to continue to experience blessings. God never forces his will on you. He lets you decide to follow him or reject him. Did you know that this decision is a life or death decision? When you decide to choose to follow God, you are choosing life. When you decide to choose the way of the world of sin, you are choosing death. So, what do you want to choose? When choosing life, affirmation and reinforcement will come into your life, so you can daily and with each new situation feel the peace, life, and joy of following God.
