You Do Not Cry in Vain

³ I am worn out calling for help;
    my throat is parched.
My eyes fail,
    looking for my God.

David cried out to God until he was physically exhausted. His throat was sore, and his eyes were swollen from crying. Have you ever been there? Have you ever cried so hard your heart ached? David trusted God to save him. Do you trust God to save you? You need not collapse in despair. You can turn to God and ask him to save you and help you. Tears will still come, but know that you do not cry in vain. God hears you and knows you. He sees you. He loves you. As you go through tough times, look for God in all of it. He is there working things out for your good.
