8 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?”
Abram was looking for confirmation. He was looking for assurance. Are you looking for confirmation or assurance in your life? Many times we look for these things. We want guidance. You can know for sure you are doing what is right if you do what the Bible says. When you read the Bible daily and make it a part of you, God gives confirmation and assurance through his Word.
