Job 6:29-30 New International Version (NIV)
29 Relent, do not be unjust;
reconsider, for my integrity is at stake.
30 Is there any wickedness on my lips?
Can my mouth not discern malice?
Job referred to his own righteousness. This was not because he was sinless. It was because he was in a right relationship with God. He was not guilty of the sins that his friends were accusing him of doing. No one has been sinless but Jesus Christ has ever been sinless; free from wrong thoughts and actions. Job did need to make some changes in his attitude toward God, but he was blameless. Job carefully obeyed God to the best of his ability in all parts of his life. To be in a right relationship with God, do your best, repent from wrong doings, and put God first.
