Exodus 14:27-28 New International Version (NIV)
27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. 28 The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.
There is not record of the Exodus in Egyptian records. The common practice for Egyptian Pharaohs was to not record their defeats. They would take existing records and delete the names of traitors and political adversaries. Pharaoh would not have wanted to record this event due to the fact that his army had been destroyed chasing down runaway slaves. You can know for sure that this event did happen, and God’s story cannot be deleted, changed, or not recorded. God has provided us with his very Word of Truth, so we can know for certain that God is the ‘I Am’.
