Proverbs 4:25-27 “…Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you. Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil…”
We need to know the purpose God has for our lives in order to look forward with fixed purpose and keep our feet on the right path. If we don’t know the purpose God has for us—a Godly vision for our lives—we won’t have anything to work towards. We tend to walk about aimlessly with no real direction.
When God gives us a vision for our lives, we take steps towards making that a reality. That vision will be our focus. Everyone has a purpose and a destiny. God has a part for you to play. If you don’t yet know what God has for you, ask Him to reveal it to you. Ask Him to give you a vision for your life, and then take steps towards fulfilling it—always keeping it as your focus, not wandering off the path before you.
Consider well the path you walk and focus on the work of the Lord.
