Proverbs 3:23-16 New International Version (NIV)
23 Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the Lord will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.
Dear Lord, I can go on my way in safety. You keep my feet from stumbling. When I go to sleep at night, I am not afraid. My sleep is restful and peaceful. I will have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that is in our world, for I know the Lord is at my side and keeps me from being snared. The Lord is my confidence. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
