Psalm 18:1-4 New International Version (NIV)
1 I love you, Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.
4 The cords of death entangled me;
the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
Dear Lord, You are my strength. You are my rock. You are may fortress. I love to take refuge under your cover. You are my shield of protection. You are my salvation and my stronghold. When I call on you, Lord, you hear me. You save me from my enemies. Your name is worthy of praise, Jesus. Whenever I feel entangled or overwhelmed, I will call your name. Thank you for hearing and responding to my prayers, praise, and when I call your name. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
